We use a range of methodologies to start afresh and examine agency valuations from the ground up. We seek to simplify the process by understanding what is in demand now and, more importantly, in 3-5 years’ time.
More than 50% of Agency owners are at least 46 yrs old or older, according our research, and are coming to that point in their lives where they’re starting to think about how best to safeguard the future of the Agency they founded. Surprisingly we also found that fewer than 30% had a succession plan not ideal to long-term success.
This led us to engage with many different parties to help develop our thinking: Agency Owners, Employees, Clients, Network Agency groups, Business Consultancies and Accountants to name a few.
We then boiled down all the insights into a unique algorithm, at a stroke taking a once convoluted process and simplifying for our clients. The algorithm uses the ‘driving and restraining forces’ of value, arrived at through real insights, combined with a dataset of Agency acquisition attributes.
